Recording Options:

During this pandemic we understand the need to have safety at the forefront of operations.

We have implemented all LA County Reopening Protocol and are approved to host SAG-AFTRA members for in-studio recording sessions.

As an alternative to coming into the studio we offer portable recording rigs for talent who prefer or need to work from home.

Option 1 - In-studio Record:

For in-studio records we are hosting talent in the building and can patch in clients, directors, coordinators etc.   Measures to limit contact and sanitize equipment are part of the norm.  Pop filters, microphones, headphones, tables, chairs and iPads are sanitized with Clorox wipes or mild bleach solution or with a 4’ lab-grade UV light.  We have disposable sanitary headphone ear covers, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer for the talent's use.  Our engineers are vaccinated, wearing masks, washing hands and adhering to social distancing. No one will be admitted to the building if they are feeling ill or have had a temperature within the last 24 hrs. Unless fully vaccinated; no one will be admitted to the building if they are not wearing a mask or have been exposed to someone with Covid within the last 3 weeks.

Option 2 - Remote Rig Record:

Our remote recording rigs are sterilized, packaged, and sent to the actor's home.  Set up is relatively easy and using picture-based instructions and telephone assistance, the actor can be up and running in approximately 20-40 minutes.  Once this is set up, the actor does not need to focus on anything beyond their performance.  Our engineer will carry out all recording tasks remotely while the director is patched via Zoom to listen and communicate with talent.   Talent will need a reliable internet connection and a place within their home that is "quiet". The full res uncompressed audio can then be uploaded right after the session.
